Árbol endémico pequeño que produce flores blancas olorosas con estructuras largas en forma de trompeta que atraen a los zumbadores, entre otras aves. Puede crecer entre 10 y 20 pies de altura. Es un árbol de crecimiento moderado y copa irregular. Tolera ambientes húmedos y de escasos nutrientes, por lo que se recomienda para áreas urbanas.
